I was randomly contacted about this role after putting my resume online, this was about 7 years ago. On the interview day, I went to a ballroom and met with two interviewers. They asked me some behavioral questions. Then I was given a take-home test. Two days later, I got an offer.

Behavioral Technical

I had 2 interviews for the Financial Advisor role. The first was a phone screen, which was a quick and easy 15-minute call where they asked some basic behavioral questions. The second interview was in person with the hiring manager. This interview focused more on my ability to retain clients and provide good customer service, using scenarios like how I'd handle a client wanting to quit, similar to keeping students in a program.

  • Imagine you're a personal trainer and a client wants to quit; how would you approach that situation?

Behavioral Technical

After applying, I went through an online assessment. Then, there was a phone interview, followed by an in-person interview with two managers. I received an offer the day after the in-person interview, contingent on a background check. The whole process took about three weeks. Even though it was long, it was a really good experience. The people I met were all nice. The interviews focused on behavioral questions. They want to see how you handled situations in the past, so take your time thinking about your answers. They aren't super hard questions, just sometimes tough to recall a specific event. I also asked about potential challenges and career paths within the role. Showing interest in the company is key.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you tell me about a time you went above and beyond to assist a customer or a colleague?
  • Describe a situation where you struggled with managing your time effectively.
