I met with HR first, and then with the department. Everyone was really nice and helpful. The whole interview took about 2 hours, including the time it took to get to a second location. I was a little late to the second place, but they didn't seem to mind. They started by telling me about the job duties and what they expected. Then, the three people there asked me their questions.

I applied in July and got the first call in September. First, I spoke with HR on the phone. Then, I was invited for an interview where I met the person I was replacing and my direct manager. A week later, I had to complete a timed editing skills test. The person who sent it said I had an hour to find errors in a scanned document. I had trouble because it was a scanned photo, not an editable file. I told them, and they said to do my best. I used the drawing tool and think I did okay since I got the job.

After submitting your application online, you'll go through an interview. If an offer is extended, it will come a few weeks to a month after the interview, contingent on passing a background check. The whole process feels a bit longer than it needs to be.
