I went through one round of interviews. It was with a search committee. The committee consisted of University staff members. Each person on the committee asked me questions that were relevant to the job. I also got to ask them questions.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

We started with a quick intro, then I talked about my projects and how I work. We also chatted about what projects I might do there. They asked about the applications I've worked on and how many papers I've published as first author. The main thing was how my experience fits with what they're trying to do and where I can best help out.

The interview process had two rounds focusing on behavioral questions. They asked me about my past experience and if I was open to working on new projects and with different tech stacks. The first round was with a search committee, and then I got an offer from the manager. They don't sponsor H1B visas.

Had two rounds of interviews. The last one was in person and they paid for my trip. Both were panel interviews with the search committee. The people were nice but it was really disorganized. I didn't like that I didn't get much info about the role until the last round and I had to ask a lot.
