I was invited to visit the campus, partake in a series of one-on-one interviews with individual department faculty, and meet current graduate students in the program. The process was just as much me interviewing the faculty as them interviewing me. I was able to drive myself to the campus, so I am not sure if transportation would have been covered otherwise. However, I was able to stay with a current graduate student, and was treated to food and a social hour where interviewees could mingle in downtown Athens with the graduate students who would become their peers if they accepted UGA's offer.
