The interview took place online. They asked a bunch of questions that weren't too hard but were meant to see how passionate and skilled you are at mentoring young people and helping veteran students.

So I had a two round interview process for this Academic Program Coordinator job. First was a quick 5 min phone chat, just some basic stuff like what interested me in the role and to talk about myself. Then the second round was in person, with about four people. They asked similar questions to the first round, but got more into specifics about the job description and responsibilities, and how my past experience fit. After that, there was a final, super relaxed chat with the Department Director. Even though I felt good about how I did in the later stages, I never got an offer or any follow-up. Turns out the role got absorbed by full-time faculty, which was a bummer, I wish they'd at least let us know.

I got an email about an interview within a week of applying. It was a panel interview, and the questions were pretty basic and direct. They didn't ask many questions, and it felt like they weren't super invested in me as a candidate. When I asked them questions, they didn't seem too keen on answering. They said I'd hear back in a few weeks because HR takes time. I never heard back, and it's been over 3 months. I only found out I didn't get the job from the UCF website. This is the third time I've applied to UCF and not gotten a response from HR about the outcome.
