It was pretty simple and nice. First, I had a laid-back chat on the phone, and then I went for an in-person meeting where they asked me about my abilities and, I think, checked my personality.

I found a student assistant job at Berkeley Law through an online application for work study. I applied to two positions and got a call back for one. They initially said they were reviewing applicants, and then after a week of silence, I emailed them. They then asked me to schedule an interview. I went in dressed professionally and met with two interviewers. We talked about my resume, past jobs, a charity event I worked on, and my skills. They also asked about how I manage my time and perform under pressure. The interview went well, and I got an offer email two days later, which I accepted. The interviewers were very kind, and one is now my boss.
