I applied right when the job got posted. I had to do a math test that checked my arithmetic and logic skills. It also involved ordering books using some specific rules. After that, we talked about the work shifts, and I was happy to accept the offer. Super excited about this chance!

Behavioral Technical Other

It was a student worker position, so applying was straightforward. You submit your resume at the front desk, and if they like it, they'll contact you for a phone interview. Following that, you'll have an in-person interview with the manager. If you pass that stage, you'll be invited for a final interview with the department director. It felt pretty relaxed, like a casual chat. No need to overthink it. Just be yourself and make sure your resume highlights strong soft skills.

I sent an email application on 2/28/2013. The Assistant Director called me on 2/22/2013 to set up an interview for 2/25/2013. Since I'm in NYC, I took the Metro North to get there. I met with the Dean of Admissions and the Assistant Director. The interview was pretty chill and the questions were straightforward. It seems like a good place to work, even though Bridgeport itself is quite run down.
