So at the beginning of the interview I was asked to put together a 10 minute presentation about my skills relevant to the job. After that, they asked me some questions about the presentation and then a whole bunch of other questions about my experience, skills, and values.

I applied online and then got an email to interview. I had to do a practical test and then faced a panel of 5 people for a standard interview about competencies. This interview was quite bizarre though. I'm usually good at judging interviews because I used to work in recruiting. I know I was confident, spoke well, and was prepared. One senior person on the panel seemed to really want me for the job. But, surprisingly, that same senior person called me a few hours later to say I wasn't confident or articulate enough, which made no sense to me, especially since I know those are my strengths. I'm glad I didn't get the job and I won't apply there again.
