I applied online and then got called for a 30-minute interview with a professor and another staff member. We both talked for about half the time. I didn't get any feedback even after they sent the rejection letter.

First, I submitted my CV for a review of my materials. Then, professors sent out emails for interviews. The interviews were usually conducted via Skype and lasted about half an hour. The questions were mostly academic, starting with topics I should know based on my PhD topic and bachelor's background, and then moving to more challenging questions about the field.

It was a phone interview first, then I had to send in all my documents like my diploma and certificates. Since I was coming from abroad, I needed extra time for my visa. The whole process took about five months.
