The application process had three stages. First, you just had to submit a CV, cover letter, and research proposal. Then, there was an interview with three faculty members where they discussed your initial submissions, especially the research proposal. Forty people were in this round. The final stage involved a trial lecture and an interview with eight faculty members, focusing on personal characteristics and abilities. Three candidates made it to this last round.
