First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Universal Music Group.
Marketing Coordinator
The process was very easy and the recruiter was very nice. They spoke a lot about the position and company culture at Universal Music Group and always kept in touch with me throughout the interview process.
- Can you tell me more about yourself?
Marketing Coordinator
First, you talk to HR over the phone. They ask basic questions about your current job and what you're good at. If that goes well, you'll get invited to an in-person interview at one of their offices to meet with the hiring manager. It's still pretty chill, but they'll ask more stuff that's specific to the job.
- Can you tell me about your current job and your reasons for seeking a new opportunity?
- What would you consider your key strengths?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Marketing Coordinator
Applied online and then heard back in about two weeks. First, I talked to the recruiter and then the hiring manager. Both were very nice and easy to talk to. It was a fairly casual interview, mostly asking behavioural and motivation questions rather than technical ones.
- What is your motivation for wanting to work in this industry?
