First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Universal Health Services, Inc..
Registered Nurse
It was a 5-person panel interview, talking with 5 different managers in related areas to the job. Each chat lasted about 5-7 minutes. I answered several questions. One manager asked 2 situational questions, they weren't difficult.
- What motivates you to work for this organization?
- What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
Registered Nurse
I met with the hiring manager and they asked me some questions about my resume, my experiences during my clinicals in school and my prior healthcare experiences, and some behavioral/situation questions. After the interview I was taken to HR to discuss benefits and then they gave me an offer.
- How would you approach an ethical dilemma in a healthcare setting?
Registered Nurse
Applied online. Got a call from a nurse manager who was very polite and professional. She asked me for a good date and time for an interview. I chose the times and dates, then had a face-to-face interview. She called me back in a couple of days, confirmed the pay rate, and I was hired.
- Tell me about a time you faced a challenging situation as a nurse.
