Teacher
So, you'll have a bunch of questions from the assistant principals and the principal. Sometimes other folks like instructional coaches or co-teachers might join in too. They'll ask about things like your classroom management and your growth mindset. Make sure you're ready with examples from your own teaching history.
- Can you give me a brief summary of your resume?
- How do you manage your classroom?
- Tell me about your growth mindset.
Parent and Community Manager
It's a simple and straightforward process. If you know what you have to offer, highlight that. They want someone who works and is ready to handle challenges within their schools. If you are a self-starter and know how to manage parents, students, and staff with tact, you should be just fine.
- Can you tell us about your experience?
- Do you have any accomplishments you can share?
- How would you describe your experience?
Human Resource Manager
I applied online and was called in for an interview. I learned the company had three divisions: a Charter School (K-8), social services, and education. I first spoke with my direct supervisor, then with the CFO. The whole process to meet both took about a week, and I got an offer the following week.
- Can you describe your management style?
- Are you able to establish a Safety Committee?
Math Coach
The interview process has been personable, straightforward, and enjoyable. I have gotten a good sense of what is needed to be successful in the role, as well as flexibility regarding timing.
