Technical Artist
The interview process was pretty smooth overall, just a bit longer than usual because of the holidays. It was great talking to everyone, they were all super nice and professional. It kicked off with a LinkedIn message from a recruiter, and we chatted on the phone the next day. The following week, I had a brief call with the technical director. After that, I got a take-home test that was both artistic and technical. Then, there was a video call to go over the test with a technical artist based in San Francisco, and they also asked me some engine-related technical questions. A few weeks later, I had a series of Zoom interviews where we discussed my previous projects and how I've solved technical challenges within them. They also threw in some more behavioral questions. Following a reference check, the final round was an on-site meeting in Montreal with a senior product manager and the team members I'd already met. It was all really insightful and definitely worth the time!

The interview stages were pretty simple. It started with a screening call with the recruiting team, which was nice. After that, I quickly got an invite for technical discussions and then met the team. They asked more practical questions to see how I'd tackle certain issues. The whole thing was smooth, and I knew when I'd hear back about the next steps.
