Project Manager
It was a 4 step process. First, an HR interview and CV screen that lasted about 30 minutes. Second, a peer behavior style interview, also 30 minutes. Third, a case study interview that was 2 hours long. They gave me the case at the start, I had 45 minutes to work on it offline, then presented my findings and answered questions for the final hour. Fourth, a behavioral style interview with more senior leaders in the group. HR was super responsive and let me know within a day or two if I was moving on. My only complaint is that 4 interviews are a lot and it took just over a month from the first interview to getting the offer.

Project Manager
The interview process was really drawn out, taking about three months from early November to the end of January, even with the Christmas holidays. There were five interviews in total. The first was a 30-minute chat with HR, covering basics like 'tell me about yourself', your accomplishments, what you know about Unity, your expectations, why you applied, and your experience in project management, negotiating, and consulting. Some questions made it seem like they didn't really read my resume. The second interview was an hour with the hiring manager, who asked good questions about what I'd like and not like at Unity, recommendations for someone new to the role, my first steps if hired, and how I'd build and hire a team. The third was a 2-hour session with two project managers. They gave me a case study for 15 minutes and then left. I spent 45 minutes on the case study, which was a typical tech project scenario, focusing on milestones, risks, and timeline. The visual aspect wasn't important, just answering the questions. Then, I presented my solutions for 60 minutes while they asked questions. The fourth interview was an hour with a senior manager (not the hiring manager) focusing on culture – my personality, likes/dislikes in past roles, handling uncertainty, leadership style, and motivation. The fifth interview was another hour with a different manager, asking similar culture-related questions. I got to ask questions at the end of all interviews. Everyone was nice and professional. There were usually 2-3 weeks between interviews. After all this, I was told I was the top candidate and would get an offer in two days. Then, a hiring freeze was announced, but they'd try for an exception. Finally, I was informed they couldn't hire me. So, I'm changing my rating from positive to negative.

Project Manager
I applied via an internal referral and heard back from recruiting the very next day. The recruiter was really nice and easy to chat with, and they filled me in on the role and company before passing me on to the hiring manager. After meeting with the hiring manager, I had to do a hybrid skills test and interview with some of the peers in the role I was going for. Lastly, I interviewed with a senior leader who works closely with this role. The skills test was tough, but the interviews themselves were all pretty chill and conversational. Everyone I spoke with was super smart and really bought into the company's mission. It seemed like Unity was hiring a lot of people really fast, which caused some confusion about which jobs were open where. My recruiter kept me in the loop about all the ups and downs and made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout the whole thing.
