Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at UnitedHealthcare.
Billing Analyst
Applied and heard back within a week. They gave me an offer the very next business day. The interview process was basically general questions and talking about my experience and how I'd contribute to UHC.
- Can you share an example of a difficult situation you encountered and how you successfully resolved it?
Program Analyst
I did a taped video interview, which had tough questions and no option to go back and fix anything. It's not ideal if you're not comfortable on camera or get nervous. It doesn't really show your true skills. A lot of the questions were hypothetical, and there wasn't any real interaction after the video to let you show your actual personality and qualifications.
- The questions were hypothetical.
Analyst
3 rounds total. started with HR, then met with the potential direct team, and finally the manager of that team. Honestly, it was pretty easy. The company seems very bland and standard. The employees seemed disengaged.
- Were you asked basic questions?
- Did you have one business case question?
