Had an HR call which went well. Then an online assessment, it was okay but I'm not sure about the results. The panel interview was supposed to be an hour but it was only 45 minutes because one interviewer was missing. They said I'd talk to them separately and HR would arrange it, but when I followed up with HR, they just dismissed me and rejected my application.

I applied online and after two days, I got an email that I met the initial qualifications. I then had to do an assessment where I answered questions by picking the statement that was most like me out of four choices. A day or two after that, I was invited to do a video interview where you're given questions and then record yourself answering them. After this, I got an email for a phone interview with a supervisor who asked a few questions and talked about the job details. A week later, I got a job offer. Once I accepted, I was sent a link for early onboarding.

Coding Technical Technical

A consultancy reached out about a Senior Software Engineer role at UHG (Optum). I have 5 years of experience. First, I had to complete a Hackerrank test with one coding question and some MCQs. The coding question was pretty easy given my experience. After passing, I got a call to schedule the next interviews on Saturday. The worst part was the interviewers asking for my current CTC on the resume and then asking about it again in the interview, which I feel is confidential information and shouldn't be shared widely. The first round covered Spring Boot, Java, and a high-level class diagram for 'Book My Show'. The second round dove deep into Hibernate, asking about session creation and managing parent transactions, which were areas I didn't have super in-depth knowledge in.

  • Could you describe the Hibernate configuration process?

Given an integer array with duplicates like [12, -9, 0, 1, 5, 12, 5, 9, 5, 8, 5], provide an output like [12, -9, 0, 1, 5, 8] by removing duplicates. The order of the output doesn't matter and you shouldn't use java.util classes.
