This was a slow interview process. I applied in March and had my first interview in April, followed by a second interview in May. It took them two weeks after the last interview to give me the bad news, even after I followed up. I feel like I wasn't given a fair shot because they decided to merge two positions into one after my interviews. On the plus side, they did give me feedback and agreed to mail back my portfolio after I asked for it.

I had my interview in one of their conference rooms with the Marketing Director and the HR recruiter. We talked for about 30-40 minutes about my qualifications. They mostly asked about the kind of marketing strategies I would use to promote United Way's message and my experience with creating new strategies.
