First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at United Rentals.
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was very smooth and efficient. I had one virtual interview and then one at a branch. After that, I was connected with the Sales Development Program Manager. I started two weeks after receiving the offer letter.
- How important is work life balance to you.
Sales Development Representative
The whole process went by pretty fast. As soon as I sent in my application, they reached out about an interview with a recruiter. After that, I talked to the hiring manager, and then the Program Director. It was pretty easy if you knew your stuff about the company, the industry, and sales.
- Tell me what you know about United Rentals.
- What is your motivation for pursuing a career in sales?
- What specifically about United Rentals attracts you?
Sales Development Representative
Went through a few interviews with different people and they all asked me the same questions. Seems like they didn't talk to each other. The recruiter forgot to call me the first day, then called late the second day and made small talk about the weather. Wasn't the most professional.
- What makes you want to join our company?
