The interview process involves two rounds, one with the manager and another with the department supervisor or team lead. It's a pretty quick and laid-back process. If you act like yourself and show them how interested you are in the position, you have a good opportunity to get the job.

I interviewed for an open position with United Rentals in Charlotte, NC. The first interview went well, and I was set up for a second interview with the General Counsel. Three and a half weeks passed with no word from the hiring manager or recruiter. I emailed the recruiter for an update but got no response. I then followed up with the hiring manager and was told they hired someone else with more relevant experience. I found this odd given my resume. I feel my time was wasted, and I missed out on another job opportunity. United Rentals could be more professional and proactive with their hiring.

The HR person was really rude and unprofessional, not friendly at all. I think she needs to be more professional and friendly, and I'm not sure if that reflects the company culture. She also didn't seem to know anything about the business she works for.
