So first we had online assessments, then a video interview, then an HR interview. After that, there was a panel interview, and then an interview with the group function head before they gave me the offer. So, five rounds in total before the offer.

Behavioral Technical Case

The hiring process usually takes about 1-4 weeks from when you apply to when you get an offer. They will check your technical skills, how you solve problems, and if you fit with the company culture. To boost your chances, it's a good idea to research what UOB is all about – their values and what they've been up to lately. Also, have some stories ready from your own past work.

Behavioral Presentation

The process was straightforward. I was contacted by HR via email to schedule an interview. Given it was during COVID-19, the interview was conducted virtually on Teams. The interview panel included an HR representative, a market lead, and the head of the department. They asked me questions and requested I discuss my past experiences. They also provided information about the department's functions and social goals. Towards the end, HR asked typical questions like 'What are your strengths and weaknesses?'. I received the final decision about a week after the interview.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you tell us about your internship and school experiences, particularly the projects you worked on?
  • Could you describe your strengths and weaknesses?
