The process was a bit slow and bureaucratic, but the interviews themselves were nice. It involved 3 rounds, each about 45 minutes long. We discussed my background and why I was interested in the role. It was pretty straightforward and easy. Unlike some past interviews I've had that started with a phone screening, this role didn't have one.

I went through a hiring process with the NOTHING BUT NETS program. It involved FOUR rounds of interviews, a social media marketing campaign assignment, and reference checks before I was ultimately rejected. I traveled from out of state to DC, covering my own airfare and hotel costs. I really went the extra mile with ideas and contributions. The whole process took a full month, which was incredibly draining, unprofessional, and inconsiderate. They relisted the job multiple times since JUNE 2019, which should have been a warning sign, especially given two other reviews. It seems like they're just after free ideas and campaign concepts. Plus, a lot of the team hasn't been in their roles for even a year. They're basically thieves and leeches. Save your time and money unless you're willing to spend over a month and $1000 on interviews, flights, and hotels for a questionable opportunity.

The interview process certainly took a while, mostly in terms of scheduling with my would-be managers. I should have seen the red flags when they tried to cancel an interview last minute (I had taken off work to do the interview). HR was very responsive, the hiring department was not. Then when they finally did extend an offer, they expected me to take it immediately without any negotiation.
