I was contacted right away after I sent my resume and agreed to a first phone interview a couple days later. It was about 30 minutes and went well, so we set up a second, longer phone interview for the next week. The HR interviewer and I had a great chat, and she seemed to like my skills and personality. She then sent me a link for a video interview I had to record at home based on pre-recorded questions. After I finished and submitted it, the HR person said I'd hear from the regional sales manager the next day. I followed up two days later because I hadn't heard from the regional manager. Nothing... I followed up again a few days later and got a call back from HR saying the regional manager had some 'concerns' about where I live, specifically that being in the center of the territory meant crossing a busy bridge daily for my commute. This was totally ridiculous and a dishonest concern from someone who doesn't even live locally; frankly, it was a lazy excuse to not move forward. She did mention I was still being considered and to expect to hear back soon. Nothing... I was completely ghosted.

The hiring manager reached out after finding me on Monster or careerbuilder and gave me a call to set up an interview. They were super flexible with my current schedule. The interviews happened in the lobby of a local hotel. I had three interviews before they made me a job offer.

Contacted by corporate recruiter. Jobs posted at 50k plus commission. Beware they are dishonest. They lump your auto expense into salary that is 30k. They tell you it's a partially established territory and there is no real business. They have not had a rep for more than a year. The recruiting person and the hiring manager play dumb about the conflict of information they provide and salary lies.
