I applied online and then got an in-person interview about 2 weeks later. The interviews were with a director and two senior managers, one of whom I would be replacing. One of the senior managers was dressed inappropriately in faded, torn jeans and a shirt with a plunging neckline. The other senior manager was professional and dressed appropriately and asked most of the questions. The recruiter called me 3 days later to say I wasn't hired because I was 'not a good fit' with the team. I suspect the interviewer with the plunging neckline didn't want another woman on the team.

The HR representative was not very helpful. HR should be more useful to the company by providing feedback to candidates after they interview. If the Hiring Manager hasn't given HR feedback, HR needs to follow up with them, especially when candidates ask for feedback months later. Not everyone can wait forever for feedback and then be tricked into another interview round without getting feedback for the first one. I found another job and moved on.

The process was super organized and fast for such a big company. I had one phone call and then two in-person interviews. Most of the interviews were standard STAR behavioral ones. Everyone I met was nice and professional, and they really seemed to love the company, even the HR person who set up my interviews.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you share a reason why you don't think I should hire you?
