Customer Service Representative
The interview process was pretty straightforward and professional. It kicked off with submitting an online application, then a quick phone screening, and finally a panel interview with the department manager. The questions were mainly about my past experiences, how I handle problem-solving, and teamwork. The panel was nice and let me know what to expect next. It was an informative and well-organized process overall.
- Tell me about a situation where you had to resolve a problem under pressure.
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was shortened to four questions, as two questions asked the same thing but were worded differently. The two interviewers who were supposed to attend did not, so I was interviewed by one man who asked the questions and wrote down my answers about how my experiences could apply to the role.
- Describe a situation where you assisted a struggling teammate and the actions you took.
Customer Service Representative
This was an on the spot job offer hiring event. First, checked in with HR (bring a resume, multiple if not using resume paper, just in case it rips or wrinkles). Then, a brief presentation with about 20 candidates. After that, 7 interviewers were calling names for a 30 minute one-on-one. They were reading from a list of questions for a panel. The STAR method is required/highly preferred (Situation, Task, Action & Result). If hired, you proceed to the next room to complete a background test (have your employer address, ph# and dates worked). Then, complete fingerprints (bring two forms of identification). After that, complete a mouth swab drug test (takes approximately 30 minutes all together). Finally, check out with HR. It started at 9am and was done by 2pm. A website called interviewbaba with the title, “top 25 United airline’s questions and answers” helped TREMENDOUSLY! If you are from out of state, you must pay for your own airfare. I met 4 candidates that were from different states interviewing for this major hub.
- What would you do if there was a language barrier with a customer?
- How would you handle a situation where you can't meet an important deadline?
- What's your approach to dealing with an angry customer?
