Applied and got a call within a week. The first step was an HR call to discuss my background and abilities. After a week, the second round was an onsite interview in Munich for a role at Prevaro, a subsidiary of Unit4. This was followed by a JavaScript coding challenge, which I found to be of medium difficulty. Later, I was invited for a face-to-face interview at the Munich office with the project manager, a team member, HR, and the team lead. Unfortunately, about a month after the interview, they emailed to say the position was canceled, making the entire 8-week process feel like a complete waste of time and effort.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Technical questions were of medium difficulty.
  • In the face-to-face interview, they focused heavily on my German speaking ability rather than my professional and technical skills because I'm not a native German speaker.

I went for an interview that had a technical test and a competency interview. The technical test was okay. I got a booklet with questions on Java, C++, XML, SQL, Javascript, and I had to answer the ones I thought showed my strengths best in 30 minutes. The questions weren't too hard, mostly code comprehension and predicting output. The competency interview was with two team leaders who were great. They were really friendly and easy to talk to. We talked for about an hour about my experience and standard competency questions about challenges I've faced.
