Technical Support Engineer
The interview process is a multi-stage procedure that Unisys use to evaluate a candidate's skills, experience, and fit for the company. The process can include. 1. HR 2. Technical 3. Manager and salary discussion
- Can you explain O365?
- What do you know about DNS?
- Tell me about DHCP.
Technical Support Engineer
Candidates for Tech Support (Voice) were mostly selected from consultancies. Direct walk-ins weren't prioritized. Although some learned about it online/Naukri, candidates had to wait since morning. Some couldn't finish the online tests even after 3 hours. Those who finished early waited for others. After 5 PM, there was confusion between interviewing freshers and experienced candidates; they were put in the same process. Some who arrived late (after 3 PM) didn't get online tests. Panelists left one by one without announcing results. By 6 PM, only one interviewer remained. They quickly conducted a communication round via phone, and everyone was dismissed for poor communication and pronunciation. This telephonic interview could have been done over the phone instead of making candidates travel 26 km from the city to Carmelaram, Bangalore. It's concerning that HR from Indian IT companies contact consultancies and post fake job openings on job search websites just for record-keeping.
- Candidates were given an online test via mobile, which was appreciable. They logged in using a URL with a candidate ID and password for tests on Aptitude, English Grammar, and Basic Technical questions related to troubleshooting Desktops/laptops.
Technical Support Engineer
The interview process had 5 rounds. First was an aptitude and CS fundamentals test, then a communication round. After that, there was a telephonic interview, followed by a technical interview, and finally an HR interview.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Can you explain what a class is?
- What is an object in programming?
