I drove to Boston for the interview on a Monday morning, leaving very early to avoid traffic. The drive ended up taking three hours. Once I got there, the interview was only 35 minutes long, and I had to pay $40 for parking, which I wasn't reimbursed for. I was offered a second interview, a ride-along, for the next Tuesday, and I accepted. A few days later, the interviewer called and asked to reschedule that second interview to Thursday. I agreed. Then, the day before the rescheduled interview, he texted to ask if we could move it again, to Friday. I reluctantly agreed. He didn't offer any apology or explanation for these changes. Since I hadn't heard anything on Thursday and assumed everything was still on, I bought a bus ticket and stayed with a friend the night before to avoid Friday morning traffic for my 9:30am interview. At 8:30am on Friday, just an hour before the interview and as I was leaving, he called. He said there was a family emergency and cancelled the interview for the third time. He said he'd call either later that day or the following Monday to reschedule. Honestly, the repeated reschedules, the late cancellation, and his lack of emotion made me suspicious. My suspicion was confirmed when I heard nothing all day Friday, the following Monday, or the eleven days after that. During this time, I got and accepted an offer from another company. After I accepted the other job, I emailed to let them know that since they clearly weren't going to reschedule, I'd taken another position and was withdrawing my application. Only then did he try to contact me frantically, apologizing and trying to get me to forgive him. I ignored all his attempts. His handling of the whole process was extremely unprofessional. He should have his qualifications reviewed because he seems inexperienced. He showed no remorse for inconveniencing me by changing the interview multiple times, making me take three days off work, or for waiting until I was on my way to call and cancel. This whole experience makes me think it's a reflection of the company culture, and I'm really glad I didn't end up working there.

You first send your resume to the branch manager/owner. Then they'll call you to set up an interview. The first interview is with the owner. The second interview is with the owner again, but this time with his head of logistics and the sales manager, but you'll meet them separately. Then they'll make an offer, which includes a salary base and commission structure, plus a non-compete agreement. They're looking for aggressive go-getters, so you should really emphasize that during your interview. They like "hunters" and former athletes, and they have a lot of them. They're looking for competitive people for their sales team, so highlight past achievements in sales, sports, or other competitive situations where you excelled, especially if you don't have sales experience. Make sure to say you're a new business developer, not an account manager, and that you're ready to bring in new business consistently.

It was a pretty chill process, lasted about an hour. The manager was really easy to chat with, not scary at all. There were 3 steps: an initial in-person chat, a walk-through, and then a final in-person interview.
