Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at UNDP.
Social Media Intern
So after I applied with my CV and cover letter, the first thing was a chat with my direct manager. Then, I had this written task to do. I got about two hours for it, and it was pretty long, just enough time really. The task involved writing a few social media posts and a small article that needed some research, which took the most time. The whole thing took about 3 weeks.
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
- What's your understanding of UNDP?
- What makes you want to take on this particular role?
Communications Intern
Got the interview 3 weeks post-closing, and right after, I got an assignment. It felt pretty fair in terms of difficulty and how much time I had. I heard back and got the offer in about a week after sending it in.
- What design platform skills do you possess?
- In what ways have your previous experiences enhanced your communication abilities?
Communications Intern
After submitting our CVs, we were given an online test to complete within two hours. It was pretty engaging if you're interested in the company's field. It's a good idea to stay updated on the company's latest developments.
- Can you name five multimedia products?
