The recruiter I worked with was great, always got back to me quickly and was upfront with info. I applied online and heard back from the recruiter within hours via email. We did a standard phone screen first. Then I Skyped with the hiring manager. After that, I went to HQ for about 5 hours of interviews with 7-8 people. It felt pretty chaotic there – one person was over 20 minutes late, and another was on a call with someone else during my interview. Most hadn't looked at my resume, so I had to repeat my experience overview a lot. One of the HR people mentioned they sometimes have candidates visit HQ twice. I got good feedback initially from the hiring manager and recruiter/HR, and was waiting to hear about next steps. But about a month later, they told me I wasn't moving forward.

Submitted an application online and about a week after it was reviewed, I got an invite for an online interview. This interview had 7 questions about my background, culture fit, and other high-level topics. About a week after that, I was invited for an on-campus interview. This involved a series of about 9 or 10 interviews back-to-back with people from my potential team up to partners. I had to explain why I was a good fit. A week later, I got a follow-up. The interviews were designed to verify my identity, check my cultural fit, and ensure I was comfortable with their pace.

- No difficult questions. Standard stuff, but you must be sharp and prepared.
- The hardest thing was to come off an interview and put yourself back to square one as the next interviewer may be looking for something different or have a different personality.
- Treat all interviews as a fresh start.

First, a recruiter will call to see if you meet the basic requirements and to get a general sense of your personality and if you'd be a good fit for the company. If it seems like a match, they'll move you to phone interviews with managers in the department. After that, you'll have more phone interviews with several levels of management, and then you'll finish with a one-on-one panel interview with them.
