Technical Coding Case

It was a SQL test, then a core technical round, followed by case studies and SQL. Somehow, I tried to answer all the questions, and in 4 mins I got a mail saying I wasn't selected. When I asked for feedback, they told me they'd tell me in 2 days. Without feedback from the interviewer, how are they rejecting? I think they had someone in mind and just interviewed for the sake of it.

  • What is indexing in SQL?

Behavioral Technical Coding

This was the first round for the Business Analyst role at unacademy. The interviewer seemed unprepared throughout the whole interview. First, they asked questions outside the scope of the job description, making me wonder if the role involved ML, but they clarified it was more focused on Analytics than Data Science. Then, we discussed some projects from my resume, which went okay. The SQL part was confusing because the interviewer's questions were unclear. For the first SQL question, they asked for a solution using a function or self-join. I used a self-join, which they said was correct but noted a function could also be used. The second question was completely unclear to me, and the interviewer's explanation confused me. The third question asked for DAU, WAU, and MAU date-wise from the transactions table. My answer, which I later confirmed as correct, was met with 'I don't think this will work'. Overall, it was a bad and time-wasting interview with a lack of clarity and an unprepared, confused interviewer.
