First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Umicore.
Process Engineer
I had a pre-screening call with a consulting agency, which was mainly a chat to go over my resume. After that, I had a TEAMS interview with Umicore engineering leadership where they asked various background and behavioral questions. Then there was an online personality test and a knowledge test.
- Why are you looking to leave your current job?
Process Engineer
I applied through my school's job board and then got a call for an interview. They asked typical interview questions, and then I had to do a simple math and English test. They were nice and got back to me when they said they would.
- What aspects of your current role do you find unsatisfactory?
Reliability Engineer
Started with an HR interview, then a hiring manager interview, then an assessment. It was a really long process with a lot of waiting between stages (took 3 months). There were several interview rounds and a personality test done by an outside company.
