First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Umbrella Corporation.
Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty long, with 6 interviews that were each between 30 and 45 minutes. It started with a recruiter call, then a behavioral interview on Zoom. After that, there was a case study/behavioral interview with a "VP", followed by a technical interview with the Head of Product. The final interviews were with the CEO and then a presentation where I had to present a product to 4 people. I got to the end and they seemed impressed, saying they'd get back to me soon. A week went by, so I followed up and got a generic rejection with no feedback, even after asking.

Frontend Developer
I recently had a technical interview that was quite underwhelming. Instead of focusing on practical skills, real-world scenarios, or problem-solving relevant to the role, the interviewer asked very generic programming questions. It felt like the questions were pulled straight from a textbook or a basic CS course, with little regard for the actual requirements of the position. Unfortunately, this approach didn’t allow me to demonstrate my experience or capabilities in a meaningful way.

- What does e.preventDefault() do?
- What is stopPropagation()?
QA Engineer
The interview process was really good and nice, quite easy. The manager was friendly, and it seemed like a nice working environment. There were 3 rounds of interviews: a technical round, a managerial round, and an HR round. The technical interview lasted about 30 minutes and covered basic Java and Selenium questions. The managerial interview focused on the job description.
- Can you explain what the different Selenium locators are?
