Behavioral Technical Coding

It started with a chat with HR where they asked me some basic behavioral questions. Then I had a call with a Senior Software Developer who asked me technical questions, but no actual coding. The final step was an in-person interview at Uline HQ. It lasted about 2 hours and I interviewed with both Software Developers and HR. It was a mix of technical questions, but they didn't ask me to do any direct coding.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

The whole thing took about 2 months. First, I had a Recruiter Interview to see if I was a good fit. Then, there were 3 online tests to check my skills. After that, I did a 30-minute Teams Interview with some future colleagues. Next came the onsite interviews, which had 3 technical assessments. Lastly, I had 3 more separate onsite interviews with the Team Lead, Manager, and Senior Manager. I want to warn people about Uline's job postings; they seem to post fake jobs a lot, like for Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. They repost the same listings repeatedly, which can be super misleading and a waste of time.

Behavioral Technical Other

First, there's a call with HR who'll chat about the process, check your availability, and send an invite for a call with a non-technical recruiter. The HR will then let you know you'll get a link with questions to finish before the interview. Don't worry, it's not a technical assessment. You'll read about the company's history and then rewrite it in simple bullet points. After that, there are two assessments that feel like a psychologist is questioning you, followed by 50 sales-related questions. It's a lot, I know, and I'm not sure why a technical candidate needs to do it, but it's company policy. This is followed by a non-technical recruiter screening.
