It was a straightforward virtual interview. The first interview was a non-technical chat where they went over my resume and school/job background. The senior recruiter emailed me a few days after I applied and set up the initial screening for the same week.

First, I had a chat with HR, which was pretty straightforward. Then, about a week or two later, I had another interview with the hiring managers. They asked some standard questions similar to what others have posted about UL. After that, we set up a third interview with two managers who seemed pretty random. We just talked about my experience and what it's like working at UL. I was ready with my answers beforehand, so nothing was a surprise. They were pretty relaxed people. No technical questions were asked at all.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

This was a lengthy but speedy process. Recruiters are quick to respond, so even with many interviews, you get feedback fast. It was during the pandemic-ish times, so it was over Zoom and then I had an in-person tour.

  • Can you describe your school projects?
  • Have you run tests before?
