Customer Service Representative
I applied online and then got a call from HR to set up a preliminary phone interview. The phone interview was pretty straightforward, asking what I knew about the company and why I wanted to work there. It was about 20 minutes long. After that, I was invited for a face-to-face interview with both the HR manager and the hiring manager. I felt the interview went well and I got a good overview of the role. They even mentioned I had the experience they were looking for. However, a couple of weeks later, HR called to say they offered the position to someone more qualified. They did ask if I was interested in interviewing for a different customer service position with another manager, which I agreed to. During that second interview, I realized it was for a role I didn't have much experience in. They said they'd make a decision within a week. It's been over two weeks now, and I haven't heard back. I emailed the HR manager about the decision, but still no reply. I was surprised, as I expected a reputable company like UL to at least send a courtesy email to candidates who interviewed.

It was smooth.. there was a personality test to do, an interview with HR and speak a little in English, and right after there was an interview with the American managers in English.
