Had 2 interviews, each about 20 minutes long. The first one was more behavioral, asking about myself, why I was interested in product management, and my favorite app. I mentioned WebToons, but they asked me to switch to a clothing app, so I chose Myntra. Then I had to discuss its issues and suggest improvements. The second interview was more technical, covering OOPs concepts, high-level AI/ML, and basic programming knowledge. I also got to ask about UKG's work and sought feedback at the end.

The interview process was pretty straightforward, involving 5 rounds. It kicked off with a TA screening, followed by a telephonic interview with the hiring manager. The next three rounds were conducted on the same day, requiring an in-office presence. The third round was with the functional manager, who was based in the US while the position was in Noida, India. Round four was with the Department Director, who is the functional manager's manager. The fifth and final round was with HR. An offer was extended about a week after all interviews were completed.

The recruiter was the reason I declined next steps. It was a series of missteps. They sent a calendar invite for the wrong time we discussed, and then during the actual interview they showed up and were extremely transactional. They were unable to articulate basics about the job such as the category or org the role would roll into, nor did they ever follow-up when we verbally discussed benefits packages etc. The TA team needs to be put under a good lens because as attracted as I am to UKG with their new leadership, the TA's are doing a disservice to luring in good talent.
