This was the most unprofessional interview experience ever. I applied for a senior sales job, and the recruiter contacted me immediately to set up a call. This recruiter clearly didn't keep my candidate information private. The only things she asked about were my connection to a mutual acquaintance. Not only is this against a recruiter's code of ethics, but she was also rude and sounded like she was eating during the call. After our 11-minute phone call, she said she would pass my info to the hiring manager and let me know. I got a standard rejection email a few weeks later.

I saw an opening at UiPath for a sales role in my area and decided to apply. Overall, the hiring process was a mess, unprofessional, and a letdown. It started with a Zoom call with HR, but the connection was bad. They spent 10 minutes talking about how swamped they were, needing to hire quickly. They asked the usual questions like 'Why me?', 'Why UiPath?', and 'What's your added value?'. When I asked about pay, commission, benefits, etc., they punted to the hiring manager for 'local' details, making me feel like they were just rushing through it. Next was an interview with the hiring manager. More standard, easy questions, mainly focused on cultural fit. It was a good chat, but again, they were vague about the remuneration package. Then, I interviewed with a VP. He was a good guy, focused on business growth, and asked more about my motivation and what sets me apart. He said he'd be in touch after his vacation, but I've heard nothing since, despite leaving voicemails and sending texts/emails. No one from HR, the hiring manager, or the VP has followed up. The product is great, and UiPath opens doors with clients. It's an early-stage company where you can make an impact, and the culture seems good (though my experience was the opposite). Red flags included a lack of clarity on the commission plan and targets, no solid cloud strategy, unprofessional ghosting, and a general lack of direction. It was a negative experience, and I wouldn't recommend them as an employer.

The interview process is pretty straightforward, with a good mix of questions about skills and culture. I met with a panel of 4 leaders from both Sales and Marketing. The whole thing took about 3 weeks, and I got the offer in the 4th week.
