First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at UFC Gym.
Personal Trainer
The interviewer was really nice and had great energy. It was pretty standard, with questions about my experience and some scenarios. They also went over the interview process and my fitness background. We had a good time, and I'm moving on to the practical interview.
- What are your salary expectations?
Personal Trainer
Yuh it was alright, theres 2 parts of the interview process one is question based and one is practical. Both weren't too hard, but there is set expectations immediately, which can definitely be daunting
- Can you tell me about your training experience?
- How do you handle challenging situations or overcome obstacles in training?
General Manager
First, be customer service oriented. Second, never be too prideful to learn. Third, there is always something to be done. What do you have to offer that most candidates do not? You will be asked how much you feel your worth. My answer: Every penny I ask for, I will be a 138% return on investment. Interviewer asked what you are using to gauge your performance baseline off of and over what period of time you are factoring in. My reply: Year over Year and I take pride in always watching my performance at whatever I do and if something did not give the desired outcome I ask why and research what I could have done better and practice on my own time to improve myself. Interviewer asked when you can start. I stated, do you have a free shirt I can put on now.
- What unique value do you bring compared to other applicants?
- What is your expected salary or compensation?
- What metrics and timeframe do you use to evaluate your performance?
Membership Advisor
The interview process wasn't very long. I met with the manager while checking out the gym and asked if they had any available positions. We set up an interview for a few days later, did the interview and got an offer within a week of that interview. Wasn't too strung out like most hiring processes.
- What sales experience do you have?
- Do you have any other relevant experience?
