They asked me some questions about my previous research work and my understanding of the job. It wasn't super hard, but it was for a summer position, so it might be different for full-time jobs.

I had already volunteered in the lab where I applied, so all of the interviewers already knew me and how I worked. It was more of a formality, fairly straight forward and informal. Quick and easy.

I applied online for this job and heard back within a few days. First, I had a phone call with a project manager. Then, about a week later, I went in for a one-on-one interview. I met everyone on the research team, even the person whose role I was applying for. I got to chat with her privately to get the real scoop. They offered me the job three days after the interview. The whole team was super nice and made me feel welcome.
