Applied online for the position and got a really fast response from the recruiter to inform me that your application was received and completed the references process. After 1 week, they set up the interview through Microsoft Team.

A group of four nurses interviewed me. They asked the usual questions plus some tougher ones. The hardest part was these four mini case studies where they asked what I'd do in each scenario. Seemed a bit much for a new grad role. Near the end, I asked questions, but they were evasive with their answers and kind of brushed me off. They also didn't offer a tour of the unit, which is something I've gotten in all my other hospital interviews. Honestly, I was glad I didn't get the job; dodged a bullet.

As soon as I got to the hospital, everyone was super nice and helpful. The recruiters made us waiting candidates feel really comfortable and kept us in the loop about when we'd be called back. I got called back for my interview pretty fast (I interviewed for oncology/BMT and pulmonary), though some other units were running a bit behind. The interview team was really welcoming and kind too. It was a bit strange at first because there was another interview happening in the same room, but I got used to it. The hardest part was definitely interviewing with five people across from me, all focused on me. Even though they were nice, it's still stressful to have that many people evaluating you. I'd recommend practicing answering questions with a group, not just one person like I did. The whole thing took about an hour, and I got an offer via email less than a week later.
