It was a pretty straightforward interview process for the UCR ITS dept student intern role. It consisted of basic SQL questions in one round, lasting between 30 minutes to an hour, covering both behavioral and technical aspects. I received the offer about a month after the interview.

Technical Behavioral

It was not bad, just make sure you know technical questions for the position. It was an intern position on the board of a club. Understand financials more than anything and don't just memorize but understand.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had one interview, which was a panel over Zoom with the hiring manager and the previous student worker. They asked some basic questions about my past experience and my ability to use Canva and create infographics. The interview was pretty long, taking up the whole allotted time. They were friendly and easy to talk to, not intimidating at all. Just make sure you meet the basic requirements and can explain how your past experience applies to the role.

  • Have you used Canva before?
  • Can you tell me about your previous experience?
  • Do you have experience making infographics?
