Technical Other

I applied for a Wealth Management Process and Quality Specialist role at UBS and honestly, the recruitment process was a huge letdown. I took an online assessment over a month and a half ago and then heard nothing. I spent a lot of time getting ready for it, and then got a basic rejection email saying the job was filled. It's really annoying because I know some people who weren't great candidates got rejected super fast, like within two days, but I was left hanging for weeks with no clue about my application status. It's fine if I didn't get the job, but the total lack of communication and respect for my time is not okay. I should have been told sooner instead of being made to wait so long without any real consideration. UBS talks a lot about valuing employees and talent, but this experience didn't show that at all. If you're thinking about applying, just be ready for a process that's slow, confusing, and frustrating. I wouldn't suggest applying if you don't want to deal with a long, uncertain, and annoying wait.

The updates on the interview process took a while. There were a few interviews in the first round, followed by four back-to-back interviews in the second round. Everyone I spoke with was super friendly and I really enjoyed the conversations. Sadly, after reaching out twice over six weeks, I haven't heard back, so I'm guessing I didn't get the job. I would have taken the offer if it had come.
