First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ubisoft.
Chef De Projet
The recruiter was great, very professional and knew the offer well. There were two interview rounds with high-quality interviewers. Overall, it was a very positive experience with a good back-and-forth. They clearly communicated their employee value proposition and we had a thorough discussion about the mission.

Project Manager
So the hiring process for the Ubisoft PM grad program starts with two phone screens. Then you have an in-person meeting at your closest 'home' studio. After that, there's a presentation where you go over a business case. Finally, there's an in-person assessment at their Paris HQ. I got through to the second phone screening. The first call was with the main recruiter for the program. The second one was with a recruiter from the Toronto office. Both interviews were pretty much the same, like really structured and formal, you know, they'd ask a question, I'd answer, then they'd move on. They didn't really ask situational or behavioral questions though.
- What makes you want to work in the gaming industry?
- If your friends were to describe you, what three adjectives would they use?
- Can you identify some challenges that Ubisoft or the gaming industry as a whole might be facing?
Project Manager Intern
First, there was an HR screening where they asked about your general experiences. Then, you had an interview with your direct report and another team member. This part focused more on tools, specific situation examples, and soft skill questions.
- Can you tell me about the project management tools you've used?
- What are some tools you're familiar with for project management?
