i was given a take-home task where i had to find 5 essential bugs, rate them using a scale that they provided, show proof of what i found, and explain how each bug occurred.
- What are 5 essential bugs you found?
- How would you rate these bugs using the given scale?
- Can you show proof of the bugs you discovered?
Intern
The interview was great! It was a really welcoming environment from the start. The interviewer was nice and asked good questions that let me show off my skills and experience. We had a good chat, and I felt like I answered well. They seemed interested in my background and how I could help the team. We went over what's next, and I left feeling good and hopeful about it.
- How does your educational background and career path align with the responsibilities outlined in the job description?

The interview process involved an HR screening, a technical test, and a technical interview. The test required completing some starter code based on a game design document (GDD). The test and interview were manageable if you had the right knowledge. I had only studied C++ for 3-6 months at the time, which was enough to pass the technical test, but I didn't pass the interview because of my limited experience. If you know your C++ concepts well and how to apply them to gameplay, it's fine.
- Can you describe how to write a function that detects if the player is in front of the enemy?
- Could you explain heap and stack allocation?
- What can you tell me about pointers?
