The interview process was pretty standard. It started with a recruiter screening, followed by a second interview with two managers. The final round involved both managers and the department leader. It turned out the salary was lower than I was looking for, and I mentioned that upfront. Honestly, I should have ended it there. But the recruiter reached out again after an internal discussion. It's a shame because I saw reviews about them ghosting candidates, and this felt like a complete waste of my time. After going through their whole process and doing a presentation, they didn't even bother to give me an update. I followed up via email, but nothing. Save yourself the hassle; maybe they just use candidates for ideas, which is pretty bad.

The interview process at Uberflip was good, thorough, and timely. They covered all important candidate aspects and were very inviting and warm. The talent lead was great at following up and guiding me. The process included a phone screening, an in-person meeting with the Team Leads, an in-person meeting with the VP CS, and finally a panel presentation and more in-person meetings all on the same day.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a 4-round interview process that concluded with a presentation interview. The first three rounds were pretty laid-back, mostly casual questions like 'Tell me about your experience' and 'Why do you want to work here,' each lasting about 30 minutes and conducted by current S.CSMs. The final interview involved a presentation and a panel with the director. The presentation was a mock client call for a product launch, asking for strategy recommendations using Uberflips features. The intention was a dialogue-style presentation, but it was awkward because the interviewers seemed unsure who would play the client role, leading to hesitant responses. This made me hesitant to engage in further dialogue about the product launch. A tip for future interviews: clarify who the client will be before starting the mock call to facilitate addressing them. Unfortunately, I didn't get the job and received no feedback, which felt unprofessional given the preparation time. I'd suggest asking for feedback during the interview itself.
