The interview process

Described in candidates’ own words.

The interview process usually starts with an initial screening call, then moves into a portfolio review to talk through past projects and your design thinking. The final step is a set of multiple 1:1 interviews along with a collaborative whiteboard or problem-solving exercise.Candidate-reported process
The first step is a recruiter call, then a portfolio walkthrough with the VP of design and another designer on the team, and lastly a panel interview with cross-functional partners like PM and engineering. Because it was a mid level position it only had 3 rounds.Candidate-reported process
The interview went well and felt positive overall. Sadly, I didn’t get past the first round. I also haven’t received any feedback, even after I personally followed up—which feels especially disappointing since the interview experience itself was quite good.Candidate-reported process
