Manager
The interview process was super long and really slow. I had interviews with a bunch of different people, more than once. I didn't hear back about an offer until 3 months later. I was actually starting to think I didn't get the job because there was no follow-up or feedback. Waiting three months for a response is way too long.
- How does your previous work experience connect with the requirements of this role?
Operations Project Manager
So, I went through five interviews with USP from May to October 2025. It started with a 20-minute phone screen, then two 45-minute interviews. After that, there was a panel interview with some supervisors and then a final interview with a VP. The first four interviews all happened within the first two months, but then it took them several more months just to decide. I kept following up every couple of weeks, and they'd just say, 'Yep, you're still being considered.' It felt like I was doing unpaid work just to get updates. It's wild because I really wanted to work there and was excited about it. I actually accepted another job offer about three months before USP finally got back to me, but I'm still pretty disappointed by how they didn't respect my time. For a company that talks a lot about standards and being professional, this whole experience felt pretty off.
- Can you share your relevant work experience?
- What's your experience like when dealing with difficult people?
- What specifically about this company sparks your interest?
Scientist
The first step was a 30-minute session with an Associate Director and HR to check my technical skills for the role. Then, I had a 1-hour second round with a panel of 3 people and HR, where we went deep into my current job and they tested my technical and problem-solving skills across different technical areas. The last part was a 15-minute chat with the Vice President.
- Can you tell me about a difficult challenge you encountered in your professional life, presenting it as a case study?
Business Finance and Controls Manager
The interview process for this role took a really long time, almost two months, which felt unnecessarily long for what it was. There were about four or five rounds. It really made me feel like the company was indecisive and disorganized, and didn't respect my time at all. They even took months after my interviews to finally pick someone. Honestly, it was a terrible process for a junior management position. I wonder if they do even more rounds for actual leadership roles. I definitely wouldn't apply here again.
