First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at U.S. Bank.
Business Analyst
Went through a phone interview first, and then I interviewed with the hiring manager for the position. It was a pretty standard interview process overall for this type of role.
- What motivated your decision to join US Bank?
Business Analyst
The HR team was really communicative throughout the whole interview process, which I appreciated. The hiring manager was also great and gave me a lot of useful details about the job. US Bank seems like a really good place to work, and I'm definitely interested in exploring more opportunities there.
- Could you outline your approach to gathering business requirements?
Technology Analyst
I started with a phone interview with the campus recruiter where we mostly talked about behavioral things to see what team would be a good fit. A couple of weeks later, I was invited for in-person interviews with 4 different teams. Two of these roles were purely technology-focused, one was a mix of finance and technology in risk management, and the last was a straightforward finance analyst position in Private Wealth Management. For these, I was given some case study questions and had to explain my ideas for software solutions. This part wasn't too tough. The private wealth interview was pretty intense, really testing my quick thinking and ability to perform under pressure. I got offers from both the Private Wealth and Risk groups and decided to go with the Risk team.
- Can you describe how you would integrate blockchain technology into the company's existing infrastructure?
