Production Worker
If you go to the employment office and fill out the application on their computer there, they'll process it quicker and call you to set up an interview date and time, usually within the next day. When you come in for the interview with the hiring manager, make sure you can work any hours, any shift, any day. They will hire you. They'll have you submit a drug test and give you the paperwork for orientation, then you start your first day on the floor.
- Can you work in hot or cold environments?
Production Worker
I came in and waited for my turn. Then I met the interviewer. He asked me about my previous work experience and my motivation for applying to this company. He mentioned his own two years in production and how he used the tuition assistance, suggesting I do the same given my background. The most crucial part was when he asked about my career aspirations. Since I hadn't seen the plant yet, I responded with 'whatever you have.' That was a big mistake! I should have specified that I didn't want to use a knife.
- Have you previously worked in the food service industry?
Forklift Operator
The interview was easygoing. There was a brief look into the freezer. I'd suggest applying because they pay the most for warehouse jobs in a 30-mile radius. Masks are required, and they check your temperature.
